Happy Father's Day Soren!

I just want to update our blog and rave about what a great Dad Easton has. He is soooo lucky! Soren has really taken to being a father and I can tell he just loves it. From the very beginning he has been so thrilled with it all. He LOVED the entire labor and delivery and still claims it was the coolest thing he has ever experienced. Since that time he has been such a good dad. It is so wonderful to have a husband who thinks its fun to change Easton's diapers, take showers with him, dress him, take him on walks, and sleep with him. I have to say he is the perfect compliment to me because he has come up with some of the most creative solutions to Easton's problems and they almost always work. He thinks of things I never would. Its great. I am so lucky to have such a proactive husband who is so willing and wants to help. Thanks Soren! You're the best.

In other news.... things are going well here. We have been so blessed. Heavenly Father has really taken care of us during this whole process and time of being without work. So many people have been so generous with us and thoughtful. Soren is still looking for work. He has another interview tomorrow and should hear back about another interview from last week. He continually has job prospects, just hasn't found the right one yet. Its still so nice to have him home!

Last week he was able to go on a 3 day campout with a buddy and had a good time. He really needed the break! He is back in the books again studying for his last CPA exam on July 16th. He still hasn't heard back about his last test, but we are hoping he passed.

I have been busy taking care of Easton and learning how to juggle a new schedule. I started running this last week and that has felt really good. Soren and I are both doing a triathlon relay in September with friends from our ward. We are each on a relay team and are both doing the running leg of the triathlon. Its exciting for us to both have new goals to work on. I got called to be the Mia Maids advisor at church today. (Teach the 14-15 yr old girls) I am excited to work with the young women. Its a calling I have never had.

On Wednesday Easton and I are going to Missouri to see the family for 2 weeks. I am super excited. Soren is too. :) He gets so much more done when I'm not here. (But I know he'll miss us by the time our flight takes off.)

So that's the news. And as always here are some more CUTE pictures of our little guy.

Happy Father's Day Soren! I know Easton is lucky to have such a wonderful father. :)

So Mia Maid leader... that is exciting! That can be a tough age too.. but you will be awesome! :) I must admit I am jealous of the fact that you are running. The triathlon sounds like a lot of fun.

I'm in YW too! Good luck with the Mia Maids, I'm sure they'll love you. John and I want to start training for a triathlon this summer, but we might end up doing the relay thing too cause neither of us has a bike ;)

Easton is SO cute Kilee! I am so glad that we got to see you the other day. I started a blog, we don't have cute pictures of an adorable child yet, but you can keep up with what we're doing too.
Have an awesome stay in Liberty!
