12 Weeks
I look slightly more pregnant now, but here I am at 12 weeks. I am now 14. Not much to see, but I think I will want this post for later. I already wish I had more to look back on from my last pregnancy. I totally look like I am sticking my stomach out, but I swear I was trying to stand up straight. Maybe I need to work on my posture a bit........

My Favorite Product this Week
These headbands are great! I picked them up at Walmart the other day for like $4.95 and have been thrilled with them. I've tried this type before, but they always slip off my head. These have a rubber/sticky no-slip band on the inside that really does work. They do get a little tight and squeezy feeling after a few hours so I can't wear them all day. I've been using them while I work out in the mornings and my bangs are no longer in the way. Plus the cute colors match my work-out clothes and spruce up my outfits nicely.

A Visit From Mom
Things were getting a little too lonely and homesick around here so a few weeks ago we invited my Mom out to come stay for a week. I am so glad she came to visit and we had a wonderful time. We did a lot of touristy stuff and shopping and dates for Soren and I. My Mom came to hang out with me and also babysit so Soren and I could get out on a few outings together. We got to go to dinner together and a movie (only our second since Easton!). We also went to the temple Saturday morning and out to breakfast. It was great. Here are some pictures of a lot of the things we did.
The famous gum wall. There really was a lot of gum!

Easter and Conference
We had a great weekend. Depite the lack of family and get togethers, we really had a nice time together as our little family.
This weekend was special not only because of Easter, but it was also General Conference for us. (A worldwide meeting/broadcast where we listen to our prophet and apostles speak to us for 5 2-hour sessions over a weekend). It was an amazing conference and I really felt spiritually recharged. There were so many good messages and themes. I can't wait to keep listening to them over again and read them too. I think our family really will do better at coming closer to Christ over the next six months until we hear from them again.
We didn't do much in the way of Easter baskets. Easton got a few great things from Grandma. I dyed eggs alone because I am the only one who appreciates it so far in our little family. I LOVE Easter dinner and apparently I'm not alone. Easton is also a fan it seems. We had a ham, potatoes, peas, rolls, fresh pineapple, and strawberry pie! Easton LOVES ham and whipped cream. He also ate lots of peas and potatoes. I made my own pie crust and although it didn't look gorgeous, the pie really turned out!
Easton is now officially a walker. He walks much more than he crawls and has even done a few pivots and turn-arounds. He stole his first piece of candy from the store yesterday. I didn't realize it until we got to the car so we marched right back it. It was pretty funny.
I had a Dr.'s appt yesterday and got about 5 vials of blood drawn. So far, so good. We'll find out what we are having in 9 weeks. That's really what we are excited for.
Just like his Dad, Easton discoverd a LOVE for whipped cream.
